Frequently Asked Questions

Where are you based?
My private studio is located in Highgate, Adelaide. Makeup and hair appointments are available in studio, and mobile services are also available for selected bookings.

How do I book an appointment?
Event makeup and hair appointments can be booked through my online booking page. For bridal services, larger groups or bookings that require travel, please send an enquiry through my Contact page.

Do I need to pay a deposit?
Yes. A $50 non-refundable deposit is required to secure your appointment. The deposit is deducted from the total cost of your service.

How should I prepare for my appointment?
For makeup, please arrive with a clean face where possible. For hair styling, please have your hair washed and completely dry, ideally from the day before. I’ll provide any additional preparation information with your booking.

How long does an appointment take?
Makeup appointments are approximately 1 hour and 15 minutes. Hair and makeup appointments are approximately 2 hours and 15 minutes. Bridal appointments and trials may require additional time.

Do you offer mobile makeup and hair services?
Yes. Mobile services are available depending on the booking, location and date. Travel fees may apply.

Do you offer bridal makeup and hair?
Yes. Bridal makeup and hair is available for brides and bridal parties. As every wedding is different, bridal bookings are organised directly with me. You can find more information on my Bridal page and send an enquiry from there.

Can I book a bridal trial?
Yes. Bridal trials are held at my private studio in Highgate and are usually around 2½ hours. Once we discuss your wedding booking, we can organise a suitable date for your trial.

Do you provide false lashes?
Yes. False lashes can be included with your makeup application when appropriate for the look.

What payment methods do you accept?
Payment can be made by bank transfer, PayID or card. Card payments incur a 1.95% surcharge.

What if I need to cancel or reschedule?
Please give at least 72 hours' notice if you need to cancel or reschedule. You can make changes through your booking confirmation where available. Deposits are non-refundable. Please see my Cancellation Policy for full details.

Can I book makeup or hair on its own?
Makeup can be booked on its own. Hair styling is generally offered as part of a hair and makeup booking. For something specific, please contact me and I can let you know what is possible.

Can I book makeup and hair for a group?
Yes. Group bookings are welcome. For hair and makeup, I usually recommend up to 3 people when I’m working on my own, or up to 4 people for makeup only. For larger groups, I can organise an additional artist or assistant depending on the services required and your getting-ready schedule.
